Your Mission

Your mission is to support the day to day operation of a modern, reliable and dynamic technology service that is critical to Communicorp UK’s success. You will be responsible for the provision of 1st line technology support to our end users.

  • Respond to inbound telephone calls, emails and service requests
  • Log all requests to the Servicedesk software, escalating where appropriate to other members of the team
  • Log all requests with a high level of quality, maintaining detailed and accurate records
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through understanding end users Technology and Business needs
  • Take ownership of issues, prioritizing and solving problems
  • Support Windows desktop and server operating systems
  • Administration of Active Directory/ Group Policy/ DHCP/ DNS etc
  • Contribute to infrastructure projects critical to Communicorp UK’s success
  • The role involves support of stations across the country; some travel occasionally at
  • short notice to meet requirements will be expected

Your Experience

You will need to be smart, bold and engaging and be able to display our company values in the work you do; Bravery, Integrity and Passion. You should be as passionate about working in radio as we are and have good experience of providing 1st line technology support in a Servicedesk environment.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills, providing clear instruction and coaching to end users
  • Ability to provide detailed and accurate records on our Servicedesk software
  • Desire to take ownership of issues, prioritizing and solving problems
  • Experience of desktop and laptop builds and imaging
  • Full UK driving license
  • Good knowledge of
    • Apple Mac
    • Cybersecurity awareness
  • Strong knowledge of
    • Windows and Windows Server
    • Office 365 and office apps support, including Exchange online and Sharepoin
    • Active Directory/ Group Policy/ DHCP/ DNS etc
    • Mobile devices (iphone/ ipad/ Android phones/ tablets)

Your Team and Location

You will report to our IT Infrastructure Manager and you will be based in our head office in Spinningfields in Manchester
