To represent Radio Nova and Sunshine 106.8 with designated Advertising Agencies and also various brands.

To work with the Sales Director of each station in order to devise and implement strategies, both joint and individual in order to grow revenue for each station via a mix of spot, S&P, creative solutions and digital revenue.

Skills/experience required:

Excellent knowledge of the Media market and Agency landscape
Firsthand experience of sales activities and processes
Excellent account management skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills: relationship management/communications/ presentations etc.
An ability to read financial information in relation to revenue and profitability
An ability to read, understand and deliver research data and information

Key job purpose:

Responsible to the Sales Director of each station for the achievement of a predetermined sales targets
Responsible for representing all Company products
Job responsibilities:

Achieve a pre-determined sales target with Agencies and Advertisers.
Undertake a pre-determined number of agency/advertiser presentations per quarter.
Report back market information in a way that allows the sales/marketing team to use it to monitor the trends in the marketplace, which in turn will help the group to make innovative and strategic decisions.
Client service:

Maintain and develop business relationship with all agencies.
Continue to grow and develop the Company’s brand.
Ensure a high standard of customer care is maintained throughout the campaign, from optioning the air space to completion of appropriate paperwork.
Ensure a prompt and effective response to customer queries and complaints.
Advise the relevant departments when appropriate and take action to resolve the issues.
Plan and prepare all sales presentations and calls.

Sound commercial acumen and judgment.
Requirement of strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
Self-motivated.
Good team player.
Flexibility to meet the company’s ever hanging sales requirements.
A willingness to represent the company in a manner befitting a responsible Agency Sales Executive, promoting the best interests of the company, and appearing smart and well-presented when on company business.
