Your Role: Onic is seeking an experienced and ambitious Account Director to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving client account growth, delivering innovative media solutions, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. The Account Director will lead strategies to ensure the success of advertising campaigns while identifying new business opportunities across our network of radio and digital services..
Day to day you will:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Lead media planning and buying strategies tailored to meet client needs and business objectives.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with clients and media owners, ensuring value for money and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute successful campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and emerging media opportunities.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Report financial metrics and team performance to senior leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in account management or client services within the media industry.
- Proven expertise in strategic planning, media buying, and delivering integrated advertising campaigns.
- A strong understanding of the digital media landscape and the commercial opportunities within it
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide others.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- A results-oriented mindset, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Commercial awareness and adaptability to changing market trends and technologies.
