BBC Radio Guernsey has been at the heart of island life for 40 years. In that time we’ve reported the latest news, connected communities, laughed (and cried) with our fellow islanders during the most extraordinary and difficult times.

We’re a small team with big ambitions, broadcasting to diverse audiences in Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm. The Channel Islands are not part of the UK or EU, they are self-governing Crown Dependences. Even if we say so ourselves, the Channel Islands have got to be one of the best places to live and work and you’re never more than twenty minutes from a beach!
