Join the volunteer team of co-ordinators helping to launch & run Bedford Radio on DAB.

Can you bring your skills to help Bedford Radio, and help us launch on DAB? We're looking for a range of new volunteers to provide vital support to the station behind the scenes. We can't deliver local radio for Bedford without this essential help. Can you be part of the team?

Volunteering with Bedford Radio is an enjoyable and satisfying way to contribute to the community, meet new people and gain new experiences.

You don't have to be an existing volunteer or presenter (although if you are, you're very welcome to apply!). What you do need are the enthusiasm and skills to help us establish Bedford Radio as the first choice for local listening.

We are looking for support with the following roles (click through to the role descriptions for more information):

• Communications Coordinator
  Help spread the word about Bedford Radio.
• Daytime Coordinator
  Oversee our daytime programming.
• Events Coordinator
  Manage the station's events, and our presence at external events.
• Finance Coordinator
  Help us keep track of our finances.
• Local Music Coordinator
  Use your passion for the Bedford music scene to help us showcase local talent.
• Events Team Member
  Represent the station at events and help everything go smoothly.
• Fundraising Coordinator
  Generate vital funding for our station.
• Music Programmer
  Oversee the music mix across the station.
• Production Coordinator
  Oversee the sound and standard of our programming.
• Programming Coordinator
  Manage our programme line-up.
• Project Coordinator
  Deliver projects we run as a station, and bid for funding to deliver more.
• Social Media Coordinator
  Make the most of our presence on social media.
• Volunteer Support Coordinator
  Guide our volunteers through training, and support them when they need it.

We will be recruiting to posts on a rolling basis: there is no deadline, and we may make appointments as soon as we have identified suitable candidates.
