Description

Grape is one of the UK’s leading radio, audio and podcast production companies. We craft exceptional audio entertainment that makes the world listen more closely. Our two areas of expertise are music and young-minded audiences.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Producer to work across our BBC programmes. This is a full time role, starting ASAP.

Required skills and experience:

You are passionate and knowledgeable about dance and electronic music and culture, and have a love for broader genres as well.

You have some experience as an Assistant Radio Producer from working at a national, local or community station.

You are a good researcher, like coming up with new ideas, thorough and meticulous in your delivery of associated programme meta-data, good at script-writing, have experience working closely with on-air talent and enjoy being an important team member.

You need to be able to edit on an editing programme such as Ableton, Cubase, Pro Tools or similar.

Knowledge of using the BBC’s editing, scheduling and playout software (VCS/Dira - Highlander, StarTrak and SchedOrg), is not essential though it would be an advantage.

You are confident using Photoshop and ideally have experience creating social media assets and strategy. Video editing skills would also be highly desirable.

You are organised, quick thinking and able to use your initiative.

You have high standards and will take great pride in creating brilliant radio and video content for our clients.

Please send your CV, covering letter, examples of recent work and answers to the following questions to team@wearegrape.com by Monday July 4th:

  • Who are your two favourite dance/electronic music artists right now, and why?
  • What was the live music experience (DJ set/band performance etc) you’ve experienced?
  • Who is your favourite music radio show?
  • Who would you tip for big things in 2022, and beyond?
