Assistant Producer (Celebrity News)

FUBAR Radio, Britain’s biggest live podcast network has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Producer to help create its celebrity news output.

Broadcasting live from our studios in London, FUBAR reaches millions of 18 to 34-year-olds each week. Our award winning video and audio content features some of the biggest names in entertainment and covers a diverse range of programming including celebrity news, comedy, current affairs, football, sex and relationships and a whole lot more.

We are looking for a full-time Assistant Producer with a natural flair for creating exciting content that resonates with a young audience. In particular, if you love Celebrity News, Reality TV and have a good grasp of popular culture, we want to hear from you.

Experience in a similar role would be preferable but training can be provided. An ability to edit audio would be a distinct advantage. Above all, as an Assistant Producer at FUBAR you’ll need to demonstrate initiative as well as being willing to follow instruction as a team player. You will also be the type of person that thrives in a young and busy creative team.

The role involves researching, booking and then meeting with show guests, as well as editing material from the content that you have helped create. Good written and verbal communication skills form an important part of the work in this position. FUBAR’s celebrity news output creates countless stories in the online press, so if you have an ear for a great scoop, you will do well in this role.

We are looking for someone to start immediately, and in the new way of working, the role will involve a mixture of home and office based work. If you're London based and are able to commute, you will have a distinct advantage in securing this exciting position.
