Full Time Broadcast Journalist – Radio News Hub
Are you an experienced broadcast journalist looking for a new challenge? Are you a bit bored of simply ripping and reading a script and feel there is a little more to journalism? Do you want to lead the news agenda rather than be led?
If you're happy to just roll up, read a few bulletins and then go, thanks for stopping by, this job isn't for you!
We're looking for a journalist with a great voice, who is full of ideas, who will work hard and make sure EVERY bulletin sounds great.
We're more than just on-air. Our journalists know how important an online presence is, so the right candidate we are looking for will understand this and be just as happy tweeting and posting online as they are reading a news bulletin.
We offer competitive salaries, more than 30 days holiday a year and the chance to broadcast on more than 300 radio stations around the UK and across the world.
If you want to be part of a company that rewards it's staff with team trips abroad, a discount scheme on thousands of items from everyday essentials to holidays in the sun and a business that listens to it's staff and treats you as an individual, then Radio News Hub could be for you.
One of our fulltime team is leaving and we're recruiting a journalist with at least 2 years experience in a radio newsroom to come and join us.
Please note this is NOT a remote role, it is a fulltime position and you will be required to work out of our office in Leeds.
If this sounds like something you'll be interested in then send a demo and your CV to our Head of News, Carl Hartley (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Feel free to call him for an informal chat to find out more, 0113 388 65 02.
