Deputy Sales Director

• As Deputy Sales Director you will be a senior member of the commercial team, assisting in the overseeing of the Sales function of the company
• Responsible for the management of Key Accounts, ensuring lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
• Working closely with Key Accounts, to better understand their business needs and goals
• Design and implement strategic sales plan and lead Sales Team to achieve same.
• Draft detailed and accurate sales reports, on monthly, quarterly, and yearly target achievement
• Develop new business outside the franchise area of Laois, Offaly and Westmeath, whether through agencies or direct B2B selling.
• Support the Sales Director by providing holiday/sickness cover in sales territories, mentoring new recruits, and assisting with product development.
• Manage the sale of special sponsorships for ancillary websites, publications and ticketed events promoted by the station.

Requirements: Deputy Sales Director.

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with relevant industry knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of Sales & Marketing techniques and best practices.
• Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

The position commands a competitive basic salary, with a bonus and commission structure offered
