Freelance Development Producer
Somethin’ Else and Sony Music Entertainment are industry leaders in producing premium, high quality podcasts that audiences love. Somethin’ Else is Sony’s in-house podcast team with offices in London, New York, and LA.
We’re looking for a freelance development producer to join our team in the UK, working on a part-time basis from January to April 2022. The development producer will work with the VP, Factual Podcasts, executive producers, producers, and associate producers to research and develop ideas for narrative factual podcasts.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience in audio production
- A good understanding of what makes a compelling story
- Strong research skills
- Strong writing skills
- A love of audio and wide-ranging podcast listening habits
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working collaboratively as part of a team
We can offer a day rate of £225 – £300 depending on your level of experience.
