Our Team

The Bauer Media Advertising Creative team are made up of digital, creative and advertising experts based across the UK.  The role being advertised for is to lead the digital and social team in our London offices for Bauers National brands.

At Bauer Media Advertising we work with some of the largest clients and agencies across the the UK.  With Bauers network of radio stations we can not only create clients engaging, results focussed campaigns, but also reach every corner of the UK with our audience network.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced individual to lead a team of digital and social media experts who implement a broad range of digital campaigns for our advertisers.

Your role will be focussed on growing Bauers digital revenue through the delivery of digital, social and video campaigns across our brands.

Working closely with our commercial teams you’ll be focussed on delivering engaging campaigns for both new and existing clients.

You’ll be an expert in digital and be passionate about the possibilities that digital marketing can bring to our clients.  As well as leading the team you’ll inspire a wide range of stakeholders and keep our commercial teams up to date with the digital marketplace.

Role Responsibility

  • Implement a set strategy to grow digital revenue across our portfolio of digital products including social & video
  • Lead a team of digital and social experts to ensure campaigns are delivered on-time and on-budget
  • Be client facing, you’ll attend relevant meetings with direct clients and agencies
  • Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across commercial, content, product and production
  • Deliver both Bauer and industry insights into our commercial teams
  • Report on analytics and data across all Bauer digital brands
  • Train various stakeholders about our product set and digital marketing as a whole
  • Coach our commercial teams to ensure they are confident with digital and can spot opportunities with our clients
  • Work with new and existing clients to implement digital solutions, showcasing Bauers digital capabilities through insights and best in class sales proposals

The Ideal Candidate

  • A passion for digital marketing
  • You will need to deliver high quality customer service in order to deliver and exceed revenue targets.
  • You will have a strong understanding of the Advertising market and more specifically digital, social and content marketing.
  • A thorough understanding of UX and web development
  • The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Great at working with others -- from other areas of Bauer and of course your team, you will understand and embrace collaborative working.
  • You will be expected to seamlessly fit into a highly diverse group of professionals within the Bauer Media Advertising Team
  • Embody Bauer Media’s values and drive Bauer’s company strategy and goals into the commercial business to a high quality and to desired timelines
  • You’ll be customer centric with a passion for helping clients solve marketing challenges.

  • You will have a good eye for detail and will follow direction and guidelines.
  • You will need to be an excellent communicator and keep both internal stakeholders and clients up to date with campaigns.
  • You will be able to think strategically and always be asking ‘what’s next’ ‘what else’?
  • You will have strong leadership skills and be able to trouble shoot and problem solve and lead a team to deliver on behalf of the client.
