Dublin’s No.1 music station FM104 & Q102 is seeking a News and Sport Broadcast Journalist to join us!

If you join our dynamic team you will be in a front row position for all of Dublins breaking stories - You will be sourcing and generating content for broadcast and online platforms and deliver on-air news and sport bulletins.

 

What we’re looking for from you:

 

You will be an experienced News and Sports Journalist with a firm grasp of current affairs and knowledge of the Dublin beat. This role requires a creative and flexible candidate who's tech savvy and can deliver under pressure.

 

Full time role which may involve weekend work.

 

 

What we’re looking for from you:

 

  • An unstoppable drive for getting stories and unflinching willingness to approach people to get those stories
  • An ability to use audio recording equipment and audio editing software
  • A general knowledge of and interest in sport
  • An ability to understand our audience and provide relevant content
  • Excellent writing skills with an excellent grasp of spelling and grammar
  • Good strong broadcast voice
