Promotions Coordinator (OTG)
This role forms part of the wider Fix Media Marketing Team, as well as working closely with our commercial, content and digital teams and serves to support both paid-for, client-led on-the-ground (OTG) activity and in-house marketing for the Fix Radio brand.
You will work closely with the SPI Manager in planning, developing and executing primarily OTG activity on behalf of our trade-focussed clients when it comes to reaching tradespeople on site at their place of work, at merchants and at industry trade shows and events.
As Fix Radio, our outdoor activity is all about ensuring our brand and our commercial partners are visible, engaged and at the heart of the tradesperson’s daily routine. 5 years ago, Fix Radio launched with our popular “Bacon Butty Tours”, delivering 50,000 breakfasts to tradespeople across London, and ever since we’ve taken the show on the road across the UK with big-name brands like Bosch, Checkatrade, 123Reg and more.
You’ll be managing the planning stages of pulling our OTG activations together, identifying client marketing goals and objectives with the commercial team, engaging with third party suppliers and promo staff, and working all the way through to physical execution of the activations on ground.
Along the way, internal relationships will be critical - with others in the Marketing team to ensure our brand gains maximum exposure, with the SPI team to meet commercial targets, with Content so the activity sounds incredible, and with Digital so that our events hit the nail on the head both OTG and across all our online platforms.
A key KPI for this role will be ensuring we both meet agreed-on commercial delivery targets, while at the same time deepening our relationships with the audience and helping to grow listenership.
You’ll also be comfortable working to brand guidelines, managing marketing collateral and inventory and with the occasional early start!
With this role, we can’t overstate the importance of being organised, tracking and planning multiple on-ground events at once, working to hard deadlines and keeping all relevant stakeholders continually up to date.
The ideal candidate:
- Knowledge of Marketing and a proven track record of Event Management.
- Some understanding of the trade/construction as well as the radio broadcasting industry.
- A proven track record in creating successful social media content.
- Assertive management and collaborative skills.
- A positive attitude and incredible organisational skills.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- A strong knowledge of areas within Greater London and/or Greater Manchester would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Fix Radio target audience.

Location: London + greater London (plus open to some travel if we have activity running in other cities)
