What the job entails:

As an account manager for Nation Broadcasting, you will need to know your local territory and be able to spot commercial opportunities by generating new business leads and identifying, understanding and satisfying current clients’ business requirements. Ultimately, you will be expected to meet individual monthly sales targets.

You will be working from home and predominantly covering the Portsmouth area but as part of the Solent team you will attend weekly sales meetings in Southampton.  You will also have support from the local management team and our Digital and Sponsorship & Promotions teams. It will be your job to co-ordinate, manage and deliver fantastic radio solutions for your clients. In addition, you will also be selling our range of digital solutions. Salary is based on experience  ranging between £25,000 and £30,000 p.a. with uncapped commission.


What we are looking for:

You must have excellent communication skills. A background in sales, preferably in media and/or digital marketing would also be ideal. You need to be comfortable with meeting sales targets and strong organisational skills will be a necessity.

Ultimately, Radio sales is all about self-motivation, commercial acumen and above all a ‘can do’ attitude.

As well as this, it’s important that you can demonstrate a passion for radio and our brands.
