The British Forces broadcaster is looking for a talented and multi-skilled Music and Station Sound Coordinator to join our brilliant team.  If you’re excited about the prospect of playing a part in our top-notch Station Sound to make a positive difference to the morale of our audience, then this is a unique opportunity.

Our station is a 70% music, 30% speech format.  The audience is a community of interest (the UK armed services and their families) with a core demographic of 18 to 35.  We have stations, locally and nationally in the UK as well as overseas.

The successful candidate will learn to schedule music across multiple channels using Autotrack 4 software.  You’ll be a natural collaborator, able to identify and work with internal and external stakeholders, adapting your style when necessary.  You’ll also be a competent sound producer (for music, promotions and imaging purposes) and you’ll be able to explain what ‘good’ sounds like.  Radio presentation skills are desirable but not essential.

You will be able to demonstrate that you’re resourceful, innovative, flexible and reliable, with bags of creativity and enthusiasm, and will have an excellent command of written and spoken English.

This job is a 6-month fixed term contract based at our HQ near Gerrards Cross in Buckinghamshire.  The term of the contract may be extended, dependent upon the needs of the business at the time.
