On-Air Presenter / Content Producer
Location: The Broadcast Centre, Waterford City x91c4vn
Hour: 37.5 / 5 Days
Welcome to WLR, where we take pride in being at the heart of our community in Waterford. We are the station that puts Waterford FIRST. Radio is our core business, but we seamlessly transition between radio, social media, podcasts, and streaming platforms, recognising, and catering to a diverse and broad audience has been pivotal to our success.
We're on the lookout for a dynamic and talented individual to join our team as On-Air Presenter / Content Producer.
Radio and audio are booming, and we are defining it here in Waterford. We need a new creative and hard-working person to join us to help us maintain the excellent standards we have achieved on-air and on-line.
About The Role:
- Be passionate about Waterford.
- Present and research engaging and entertaining on-air content for a 3-hour music show daily, connecting and interacting with our large listenership.
- Operate as the station content producer.
- Enjoy working with a creative and passionate team of broadcasters and content creators.
- Collaborate with the Programme Director to plan, develop and execute creative programming ideas.
- Assist in planning and scheduling broadcasts / promos, ensuring a seamless and exciting listener experience.
- Help drive the audio experience for our listeners both on-air and online.
- Stay up to date with industry trends.
- Be passionate about producing award winning radio programmes.
About You:
- Previous management / editor / content producer experience is ideal but not essential.
- Strong on-air presentation and writing skills.
- Strong knowledge of online platforms.
- Full Clean driving licence
- A passion for Waterford.
