About The Role 

Reporting to the Managing Editor & Deputy Managing Editor of Today FM you will be responsible for music and entertainment content delivery on various Today FM platforms including broadcast and digital.

You’ve got the magic touch to bring ideas to everyday and keep the dancefloor hooked, crafting and curating entertainment that doesn’t just lead the market—it redefines it!.

An understanding of how to make the countries best presenters thrive, be an audio entertainment creator, and a natural at pushing a radio studio to its max. Thirsty to innovate with a strong understanding of radio playout programmes and its tech. A desire to use and implement new AI tools for optimum live and on-demand content.

What You'll do:  

• Set the standard for music and entertainment on Today FM, ensuring shows and pieces of content deliver a world-class experience for audiences in Ireland and beyond.
• Dream up and orchestrate original music and entertainment projects, collaborating seamlessly with internal teams and external partners to bring bold ideas to life.
• Craft audio magic through expert editing, creating standout entertainment moments that set the industry benchmark.
• Transform audio brilliance into captivating video content, blending technical expertise with creative flair.
• Coach and inspire Ireland’s top presenting talents, delivering insightful guidance that elevates on-air performance.
• Master in-studio operations, confidently navigating desk setups and audio playout systems, while empowering others to do the same.
• Revolutionize show preparation by embracing and exploring the cutting-edge potential of AI technology.
• Ignite audience engagement by creatively and technically driving top-class contributions to music and entertainment moments across platforms.
• Write and facilitate original audio entertainment that captures imaginations and creates unforgettable moments.
• Manage GSelector and Zetta systems with expertise and confidence, ensuring seamless performance.
• Step in to support fellow producers across the M&E network when needed, keeping the creativity and energy flowing.

Qualifications 

• If the following sounds like you, you might be the right person for the job:
• 3 years+ experience of professionally working in a radio broadcasting, podcasting or music streaming environment.
• Broadcast regulation with legal and libel knowledge experience in this sector.
• Ability to work well with others and thrive in a collaborative group working environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, multi-tasking skills, and a keen attention to detail.
• An AI tool innovator.
• An audio editor programme wizard.
• Ability to work out of hours including weekends.
