Description

Midlands 103 is seeking to recruit a high performing Sales Director to lead a proven team, launch new marketing solutions and diversify our business activities. The station specialises in multi-media integrated advertising solutions for both local and national brands, whether audio, display, social campaigns and branded content.

Responsibilities

As Sales Director you will lead the commercial team and develop/execute strategies to achieve targets and broaden the customer base.

  • Support the team’s success through coaching, creativity and insight.
  • Understand market trends and create responsive solutions that harness our value proposition.
  • Responsible for the management of Key Accounts, ensuring lasting relationships with customers to better understand business goals and grow customer loyalty.
  • Design and implement strategic sales plans that meet and exceed company targets.
  • Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
  • Develop new business outside the franchise area of Laois, Offaly and Westmeath, whether through agencies or direct B2B selling.
  • Work with the Managing Director towards further diversification of the business.

 Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior media sales role
  • People management and leadership skills
  • Excellent negotiation technique
  • In-depth knowledge of Sales & Marketing and best practices
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
