The Role

We are looking for a talented Assistant Digital Producer to join our dynamic Off The Ball Breakfast Digital team. You will be responsible for helping create the show that delivers millions of views, engagements, and listens across all of our platforms.

The successful candidate will form part of Ireland’s strongest content team and will be provided with relevant opportunities for on-air appearances on Ireland’s only dedicated morning sports breakfast show.

What you’ll do

· Edit, cut and publish video across all our social media platforms, covering OTB AM show content, Digital Commercial requirements, press conferences, etc.

· Respond to strict editorial deadlines around OTB ongoing commercial projects.

· Edit and post audio to the OTB Podcast Network

· Assist and influence editorial decision-making, especially concerning suggestions for OTB AM’s topics and guests, book guests

· To continue building OTB AM’s video and audio performance across all platforms and assist in delivering the best morning show to our considerable and building audience.

· Track and analyse Digital data across all platforms on a daily basis.

If the following traits sound like you, then you might be the right candidate:

  • You have significant video and audio editing experience.
  • You have excellent social media experience - Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok. Photoshop skills a bonus.
  • You have an understanding of analytics to judge performance, especially Google Analytics.
  • You are KPI-driven, with an inherent understanding that numbers and performance are the no.1 priority.
  • You demonstrate an ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurized environment with the capability of creating outstanding written, video, and audio content in the same shift.
  • You are versatile and have the ability to adapt and engage in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
  • You have a strong interest in all sports, particularly Soccer, GAA & Rugby.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of women’s sports.

  • Previous experience working in the sports media industry and or, radio production
  • Knowledge of libel and defamation laws.
  • Detailed knowledge of and experience with Premiere Pro.
  • Technical ability to edit video, and audio and publish online.
