Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Content Editor to join our dynamic team and provide holiday cover. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pop culture, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional writing and editing skills. As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for researching trending stories, creating compelling content, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy. This role is ideal for someone juggling multiple part-time roles or gigs looking for extra income

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify trending pop culture stories and viral topics.
• Write and edit engaging content that will be broadcasted to a large audience.
• Proofread and fact-check content to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with other team members to brainstorm and develop content ideas.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in pop culture and media.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in content writing and editing, preferably in the media or entertainment industry.
• Strong research skills and a knack for identifying trending topics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with radio from a production side of things is helpful but not totally essential.
