Field Based Account Manager

Sunshine Radio is looking to recruit a Field based Sales/Account Manager

You will be required to sell radio advertising, sponsorships, promotions, events, digital advertising directly to businesses. As well as manage key accounts.

Sunshine Radio is a long-established radio group broadcasting across the wide geographical areas of Herefordshire, Monmouthshire and parts of South Shropshire and the Marches on FM and Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire on DAB.

Sunshine Radio is passionate about bringing local radio to our audience and customers. This field-based sales role will support our existing sales team and help grow our existing client base across all areas.

The ideal candidate will need to be proactive with and have;

• Previous sales experience in selling directly to small and medium sized businesses. Good experience of selling on multimedia platforms.
• Have a high degree of self-motivation and also able to work as part of a team
• A positive and resilient approach with the desire to source new business
• Understand the needs of your clients, identifying the best possible marketing solutions for them.
• Excellent listening skills to understand the client’s needs and consequently able to build an effective campaign.

This position involves working across all geographical areas of Sunshine Radio’s broadcast area.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Basis Salary: Up to £25,000 per year based on experience
