Full Time Studio Manager

Monocle Radio is looking for an experienced live radio sound engineer to work on our 24-hour audio service. You’ll be working with a small team of engineers and producers for five days a week that will include some early and late hours and weekends, on pre-recorded and live programming. You’ll have a passion for radio and audio, and a keen interest in current affairs. You’ll be able to think fast, respond to technical challenges positively and quickly come up with solutions on your own initiative. You’ll also have at least two years’ experience in a working studio environment. Knowledge of RCS Zetta or a similar playout system is essential. Adobe Audition skills are also desirable, as well as an intimate understanding of the dynamics and pressures of a live radio studio. You will need to feel confident around VoIPs and in digital environments. As well as great ears and technical ability, you will also need to have good studio etiquette and be able to work well with producers, presenters and guests.
