Kfm News Journalist

Kfm, Kildare's Local Radio Station is Recruiting a News Journalist.

The Role:  FULL-TIME

• Deliver quality hourly on-air News & Sports Bulletins.
• Generate copy and audio content for on-air and Kfm Social Media
• Regularly updating kfmradio.com and Social Media with relevant content
• Liaise with News and Current Affairs Team re: relevant material

 Requirements

• Possess excellent News compilation, scripting and editing skills
• A comprehensive knowledge of current affairs/sport, nationally and Kildare
• Technical proficiency in Radiomation, Cool Edit, Adobe etc
• Proficiency in Social Media
• A full driving licence.

This is a key full-time position in the Kfm News Room, requiring passion and commitment to the highest News production ethic, focussed on timely delivery of optimum quality content on air and on-line and requiring the keenest News sense: local, national and international.
