Your Role

As our Media Sales Executive, you will:

  • Take ownership of identifying and approaching potential advertisers and presenting tailored advertising packages that include sponsorships, spot ads, and more.
  • Build on your existing relationships within the industry while forging new connections with brands eager to leverage the power of radio and podcast advertising.
  • Drive sales by hosting engaging face-to-face meetings, understanding client needs, and delivering innovative, bespoke solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and position Kube Media as the go-to partner for brands targeting diverse audiences.
  • You will report directly to the Head of Sales to ensure monthly targets are met and to discuss your performance and development.
  • Use top-tier CRM tools like EPOS and Apollo to track and identify potential business opportunities, building your own pipeline.

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking ambitious individuals with:

  • Proven track record in a target driven sales role, cultivating relationships and closing deals with brands and agencies.
  • Strong proficiency in sales tools and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with a flair for crafting compelling pitches.
  • Confidence, tenacity, and drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Represent our stations professionally in client meetings and networking opportunities across Essex.
  • The ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

 

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary starting at £28,000-£30,000 a year depending on experience, with an uncapped commission structure and a minimum expected OTE of £40,000 (10% commission on each sale, uncapped).
  • A hybrid working model with a minimum of three days at our Chelmsford hub after initial probation period.
  • A modern, central studio location just a short walk from Chelmsford Rail Station and convenient parking nearby.
  • Regular working hours, Monday to Friday (9 am - 5 pm), with a minimum of 35 hours per week, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
  • 32 Days annual leave including public holidays.
