Description

BFBS, the Forces Broadcaster is on the hunt for an exceptional Music Scheduler.

Working across our music and entertainment strands, you’ll find a unique environment where you will be able to demonstrate your creative flair for compiling music logs for our radio stations and platforms across the globe.

We’re looking for a music connoisseur who can masterfully blend the biggest songs of today with music from the late 80s, 90s and 00s, taking various genres into consideration, keeping our UK armed forces audience at the heart of everything you do. You’ll have some scheduling software experience with a good eye for translating research and an instinctive ear for maintaining and developing a compelling station sound. Ideally, you’ll love attention to detail; have contacts within the music industry and some knowledge of clock construction. An understanding of local v networked programming would also help.

We need you to be resourceful, creative, innovative, flexible, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of our wider team. And you’ll understand how good it feels to go the extra mile to make a difference.

So, the big question is, are you up for the challenge?

BFBS is an exciting and rewarding place to work. We are committed to looking after our people, helping them to develop their skills and build successful careers.
