News Journalist / Producer, Tipp FM

We’re looking for a Full-Time News Journalist / Producer to join our Tipp FM team.

If you’ve got a passion for local news, real stories, and the people of Tipperary, this is your chance to shape the conversation across the Premier County.

What you’ll do:

Report and write stories that matter to Tipperary.

Record, edit, and produce clear, concise news reports and read bulletins.

Conduct interviews in studio and on the road.

Chase breaking stories and find new angles.

Create digital and social media content.

Work flexible hours, potentially weekends

You’ll also work directly with the Tipp Today crew on a regular basis to help create three hours of lively, local current affairs every weekday, and craft engaging content for our social media and website.

About you:

Strong knowledge of Tipperary is an advantage

Confident working solo and to tight deadlines.

Experience in a media environment an advantage.

Adobe Audition & Burli knowledge preferred.

Full driving license required.
