We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Weekend Breakfast Presenter to host our weekend breakfast programme and help start our listeners’ weekends in style.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an entertaining, engaging and informative show featuring music, entertainment news, local information, competitions, features and audience interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Present the Weekend Breakfast Show.
• Prepare and plan content ahead of each programme.
• Deliver engaging links, features and listener interaction.
• Present lead up to weather, travel and community information where applicable.
• Promote station events, competitions and campaigns.
• Maintain high broadcasting standards and follow station policies.
• Work closely with the programming team to develop the show.

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A friendly, engaging and upbeat on-air personality.
• Strong show preparation and organisational skills.
• Ability to connect with listeners and build audience engagement.
• Reliable and able to meet programme deadlines.
• We use Myriad 6 to VT

Desirable

• Previous radio or podcasting experience.
• Home studio setup with microphone and reliable internet connection.
• Experience using radio playout systems.
• Knowledge of social media and audience engagement.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who can bring energy, personality and great content to weekend mornings. You’ll be passionate about radio, music and entertainment and able to create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps listeners coming back each weekend.
