Description

Our radio station is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating revenue by selling advertising space and airtime to businesses and agencies. This role is commission-based, offering a highly competitive pay structure that rewards top performers.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with local businesses and advertising agencies
  • Sell advertising space and airtime on our radio station to businesses and agencies, creating customized proposals that meet their marketing objectives and budgets
  • Negotiate rates and terms with clients to maximize revenue while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our audience and the demographics that our station targets
  • Collaborate with the production team to create effective ad campaigns that resonate with our listeners and meet the clients' marketing objectives
  • Use sales tracking software and CRM tools to manage sales activities and provide regular reports to management
  • Attend networking events and trade shows to generate leads and build relationships with potential clients
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in a B2B sales role, preferably in the media or advertising industry
  • Strong knowledge of local business communities and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and driven to exceed sales targets and earn a high level of commission
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
  • Familiarity with sales tracking software and CRM tools
  • Understanding of advertising best practices and the ability to create effective ad campaigns
