About Central FM

Central FM is the Forth Valley’s most listened-to commercial radio station, delivering engaging content and great music to audiences across Falkirk, Stirling and the wider Forth Valley.

The Role

We’re looking for a talented and reliable Cover Presenter to join our team on a freelance basis. In this role, you’ll step in to cover multiple shows across our schedule as required, ensuring seamless, high-quality broadcasts.

Key Responsibilities

• Present live radio shows across a variety of time slots

• Maintain a professional and engaging on-air presence

• Follow station format and guidelines while bringing your own personality to the output

• Work closely with the programming team to deliver consistent, high-quality content

Requirements

• Proven ability to confidently operate in a live studio environment
• Strong presentation skills and a good understanding of radio broadcasting
• Familiarity with industry-standard playout systems, particularly RCS Zetta, is highly desirable
• Flexibility and reliability to cover shifts as needed

Location

This is an on-site role, and you will be required to attend our studios in Central Scotland.
