Sales Executive – The DOVE

THE COMPANY
The DOVE is the ‘Smart’ new digital radio station for Derby, Nottingham and East Staffordshire.

The DOVE can be heard online @doveradio.co.uk, via smart speaker, say 'Alexa open dove radio' as well as other Apps such as Radio Garden, Radio Box and MyTunerRadio.

As well as playing a constant flow of 'the music you love', programmes are packed with news, sport, and information delivered both on air and via an innovative website.

In 2022 the DOVE enjoyed excellent figures, website interactions 6.6 million and listener reach over 2 million, with an average listening time 101 minutes.

THE ROLE
Selling radio airtime advertising, online products, sponsorship and promotional opportunities.

Researching new and existing businesses

Warm and cold telemarketing calls to obtain face to face and on-site sales meetings with potential customers.

You'll put together pitches that will make you stand out to potential advertisers.

You and our production team will work closely to implement campaign ideas.

You – the candidate
You will be a confident self-starter who is pro-active, friendly and can work independently.

Have excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills.

We're looking for someone that loves selling creative ideas

Ideally you need experience in selling media products, such as Radio, TV and Print, but not essential.

Have access to transport (or able to use public transport) to enable travelling to local businesses.

This is a self-employed position and you will be responsible for your own tax and insurance.
