Trainee Producer

We’re looking for a Trainee Producer to join our award-winning Group Production Team in Manchester! You’ll collaborate with a talented group of experienced producers, contributing to the entire Bauer portfolio. Including Hits Radio, Greatest Hits Radio, Absolute Radio, KISS and more!

As a Trainee Producer, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in audio production and learn from industry experts.

You will collaborate closely with our branded content teams to bring briefs to life through scripting and production.

During the initial training period, likely to last around 6 weeks, you’ll need to be based in our Castle Quay office in Manchester 5 days a week. After this, the role will then be a mixture of home and office working.

Key responsibilities

We’re not looking for someone who has been in the industry for years, rather someone who has loads of passion, is eager to learn and wants to build a future career in the world of radio.

As a Trainee Producer (Station Sound & Branded Content), you will:

• Use Pro Tools to create and produce branded content and station sound production.
• Work directly with our branded content teams to develop creative and compelling scripts based on briefs.
• Be able to work and collaborate with team members remotely.

• A passion for Station Sound and Branded Content production.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Willingness to learn and adapt on the job.

Desirable

• Familiarity with Pro Tools or other audio editing software
• Basic understanding of music theory and mixing music
