Erewash Sound’s Party Classics Presenter

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Erewash Sound, an award-winning local community radio station for a presenter to take over Erewash Sound's Party Classics on a Saturday night.

Erewash Sound is an established Community Interest Company - a local radio station based in Erewash in the East Midlands – and has recently expanded its coverage area. We can be heard on two FM frequencies throughout Erewash and the surrounding areas including the two cities of Derby & Nottingham, online, on the Erewash Sound app and on smart speakers.

The show is on-air Saturday nights 9pm-1am and is music-driven.

Party Classics plays the best weekend songs from 70s disco to modern dance. The show's overall mood is fun, upbeat, and happy, and the listener hooks into that too.

The show is presented voice tracked which can be done either from our studios in Ilkeston, Derbyshire or remotely.

This is a voluntary position and full presenter training will be given.
