Multimedia Journalist, Channel 103

Here’s an exciting opportunity that doesn’t come along very often.

Channel 103 is the most listened-to radio station in Jersey, reaching more than half of the island’s adult population every week.

Jersey is a self-governing Crown Dependency with great bars, restaurants and some of the best beaches in Europe.

We’re now looking for an experienced journalist to join our team and work a variety of reporting and bulletin reading shifts.

Our Ideal Candidate will…

be a great news reader with a strong broadcasting voice

have great news writing skills, able to convert complex information into easy-to-understand radio and online content

have good legal knowledge, an understanding of the Ofcom Broadcasting Code, a curious mind and know which stories are important to audiences in Jersey

be comfortable dealing with newsmakers at all levels and willing to build a contacts book

be capable and confident using social media to enhance our news output
