We are looking for a Partnerships Manager with a demonstrable track record in direct sales with brands that target the Gen Z / Millennial market.

 

Location

London, Islington (one tube stop from Kings Cross).

 

Salary and Package

30,000-35,000 with expected OTE c£50,000 per annum

10% commission (uncapped)

As part of an ambitious growth strategy, FUBAR is offering exciting opportunities for brands to connect with our highly prized 18 to 34 audience as we transition the business from online only, towards our national DAB launch in 2025.

The Role

  • You will be directly responsible for identifying and approaching potential brand partners with a mixed advertising inventory that includes packages of show sponsorships and spot ads.
  • You’ll be expected to leverage your existing sales relationships in the industry to achieve this and secure many more new relationships quickly.
  • You’ll have strong market knowledge of brands that are actively interested in marketing to 18-34 year olds, especially in the audio sector.
  • You will facilitate face-to-face meetings with key decision-makers to discuss partnership opportunities and tailor advertising solutions.
  • You will also be working very closely with the production team and artists to help coordinate the development of creative solutions for each individual series.
  • You will be expected to attend the office regularly to facilitate collaboration with the production team and to continually familiarise yourself with the programming schedule.
  • You will be expected to be capable of reporting performance and forecasts to the CEO.
  • You will maintain a CRM system and have access to Sales tools. (Hubspot, Apollo).
  • An awareness of online celebrities and knowledge of popular culture will be an important asset, as it’s in the DNA of our schedule.

 

Experience Required

  • 4+ years in radio sponsorship, spot ad sales or media ad sales or related roles.
  • Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with brands that drive revenue.
  • Experience of working with media agencies would be a distinct advantage.
  • You will have sales collateral from day one but be expected to update these on a regular basis. Therefore you must have excellent working knowledge of Power Point, Adobe or Photoshop.
  • Working knowledge of RACE or similar audio campaign planning systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of sales processes and sales tools, including Apollo, JET and RCS Aquira.
  • Familiarity with the needs and objectives of brands targeting Gen Z and Millennial demographics.
  • Highly motivated, extroverted, and adept at leading conversations with brand representatives, especially in pitching and negotiating brand partnerships.
  • Ability to motivate, drive, and develop relationships and teams.
  • The confidence and tenacity to pursue leads, overcome obstacles, and secure deals.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative brand integration and activation ideas.
  • Confident, resilient, and driven to exceed sales targets.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and grammar.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

 

THE PACKAGE

  • The role is based at our London, Islington studio and offices (2 mins walk from the Piccadilly Line tube). We offer flexible working which can be discussed at the interview stage but we encourage team collaboration in the office.
  • Minimum hours are 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
  • A competitive package is available for the right candidate, plus a highly generous commission structure of 10%, which is uncapped.
