About the Role

98FM is now seeking an experienced Marketing & Events executive to promote and bring to life the 98FM brand across all consumer touchpoints. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this exciting role will focus on developing and delivering creative and impactful marketing campaigns, identifying and amplifying suitable brand partnerships, creating memorable listener experiences and supporting the social media growth strategy. You will be a confident, enthusiastic team player, collaborating with the wider 98FM team, including commercial and programming departments, to drive audience growth and exceed brand objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Main marketing contact 98FM, an exceptional brand guardian ensuring brand values are reflected in all activity
  • Pro-active creation and delivery of commercial and marketing partnerships, plus post campaign analysis reports for all marketing-led activity
  • Lead brand and listener events, working closely with internal stakeholders as required
  • Managing photoshoots and press calls
  • Managing internal cross promotion by identifying in-house opportunities to further promote the brands
  • Delivery of through the line marketing campaigns from ATL to digital
  • Liaise with on-air and online teams to ensure promotions are effectively communicated – attending weekly programming meetings and highlight PR opportunities
  • Work alongside Digital and Social teams to ensure content is in line with brand strategy
  • Working with Head of Marketing to manage any external agency relationships
  • Briefing and managing digital ad campaigns to coincide with station led marketing campaigns
  • Budget management and reporting
  • Be available on an ad-hoc basis to work on projects, initiatives and events outside of normal working hours
  • Regular reporting on activity and performance against agreed KPIs

  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Ability to positively influence and deliver a brand marketing plan
  • Excellent communicator – both verbal and written
  • Experience of delivering successful marketing campaigns across traditional and digital media
  • Experience of leading and working at consumer events
  • Strong social media experience
  • Understanding of key reporting and analysis tools e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook & Twitter ads manager
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work with varying budgets
  • Passionate about radio, music and entertainment
  • Experience of commercial partnerships and working closely with agencies
