Account Manager

Gaydio, the UK’s radio station for LGBTQ+ audiences, is looking for an Account Manager to join our commercial team in Manchester.

Reaching more than half a million listeners each week across radio, digital platforms, social media and events, Gaydio works with brands and organisations to deliver creative campaigns that connect authentically with LGBTQ+ communities across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing creative campaigns and helping brands connect with audiences in meaningful ways.

The role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing your own portfolio of commercial clients, generating new business opportunities and creating bespoke multi-platform campaigns that combine radio, digital, social media and events.

You’ll work closely with Gaydio’s programming, marketing and production teams to deliver high-quality campaigns, while representing the station at industry events and networking opportunities.

We’re looking for someone who

• Is a confident and persuasive communicator
• Has experience in media sales, sponsorship or campaign sales
• Enjoys building long-term relationships with clients
• Is organised and comfortable managing multiple campaigns
• Is motivated to work towards targets and deliver results
• Has an interest in LGBTQ+ culture and communities

Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is beneficial but not essential.
