Multimedia journalist at YorkMix Radio

YorkMix is the leading media platform for York. 

For over a decade we’ve been running YorkMix.com - our news and entertainment website - which generates more than two million page views a month. Three years ago, we added YorkMix Radio - our own DAB+ commercial radio station.

Now we’re looking for another journalist to join our content team, working across web, socials and radio.

You’ll be based in our newsroom in the centre of York, producing bulletins for broadcast and writing articles for our website working a variable pattern including some weekend cover. 

There will be plenty of opportunities for you to involve yourself in other areas of the business too, so if you’re as at home interviewing an MP as you are donning a mascot costume this could be your dream job!
