About the Role
Beat is on the lookout for a creative and dynamic Breakfast Producer to join our team! If you live and breathe audio content and love crafting stories that captivate and entertain, this is your chance to make mornings unforgettable for Beat’s massive audience.
You’ll be at the heart of our flagship breakfast show, shaping content that’s fresh, fun, and impossible to ignore. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term role based in Co. Waterford, where you’ll work alongside some of the best in the business to deliver radio that truly connects.
What you’ll do:
- Devise content and features which are suitable for our target audience. Authentic and real-life content is key.
- Be highly skilled in editing audio to the required standards for broadcast.
- Be an actively innovative content creator across all major social media platforms to ensure Beat is attracting a wider audience online to complement its strong reach on air
- Contribute to the show in a quirky way and add to the station’s overall creativity.
- Work closely with the Beat Sales & Solutions departments to maximise commercial and PR opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Bauer team in programming, digital, social media and events.
What You'll Have:
- Previous Radio or Media Producer experience.
- Highly skilled at audio editing. Video editing a plus.
- An impressive knowledge of current trends, entertainment and popular culture.
- Have exceptional time management and interpersonal skills.
- A team player who is capable of working collaboratively and respectfully with others.
- A hard worker – Beat Breakfast is busy. You need to be capable of dealing with many balls juggling in the air at any one time.
