The Role

3FM has an opportunity to join our news department as a Multimedia Journalist.

As an integral part of our News Team you’ll present hourly bulletins, interview people on camera, write scripts, edit audio and forward plan during reporting and news-reading shifts.

We’ll help you to turn your original story ideas into informative, creative and engaging journalism.

You will be passionate about news and have an in-depth knowledge of current affairs on the Isle of Man, be able to work quickly and accurately and be a team player.

A sound legal and regulatory knowledge is essential, you will need experience of various social media platforms.

You need a good broadcasting voice and the confidence to present both pre-recorded and live bulletins.

A clean, full driving licence is essential.
