Rhubarb Radio is the community-based radio station broadcasting across the Wakefield District since 2017 having recently celebrated our 8th birthday.

Broadcasting from our studios in Wakefield City Centre, Rhubarb Radio offers great entertainment, news, information and features with the biggest hits 24 hours a day. We are at the very heart of the community broadcasting to a target audience of over 400,000 people .

With a fantastic dedicated team of volunteers, Rhubarb Radio is now growing and we are looking to add to the bunch with a talented and enthusiastic freelance part time sales executive.

We are looking for a target driven person who is passionate about promoting the Rhubarb brand across the Wakefield District selling advertising, sponsorship and promotions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in media sales and marketing. You will play a crucial role in securing the vital funding needed to help our station thrive and move forward.

Working to suit your requirements, we are offering an excellent commission based remuneration package, supported by a management team with many years sales and marketing experience in the radio industry.
