Podcast Producer

After an award-winning 2022, (Ireland based) DustPod have kicked off 2023 with expansion into the UK. We seek an additional producer to join our highly experienced team in May.

About Us

DustPod create engaging podcasts for brands who are just as passionate about their product or company as we are about audio. Our challenge is to seek out the story from all manner of situations, people and places and help share that passion with podcast listeners. We work with great clients and the podcasts are fun!

You will be working with a small team of high-level national radio professionals. Our producers (and former producers) all do amazing work. Last year alone seven were nominated for IMRO & Podcast Awards.

About You

To join our team, we expect you to be curious, creative and a good organiser with attention to detail. You should have at least two years experience in podcast or radio production and be able to work toward deadlines. We don’t suffer the hourly grind of radio so expect time to try new things.

Experience in the technical aspects of podcast production is a plus. We look for proficiency in Adobe Audition/Premiere, ProTools or DaVinci Resolve, Google/Microsoft Office and AI tools. You will receive training in the specific software and systems we use.

Opportunity

This position is work from home, mainly mornings, but you will have flexibility provided you meet deadlines and expectations. You will also have the chance to learn from experienced podcasters and grow your network and portfolio.

Producer duties include coordinating guests and content with our clients, preparing scripts and running orders, overseeing recordings, creating Show Notes, repurposing podcast content and some basic audio/video editing.

Starting part-time salary is €18k - €20k with generous breaks at Easter, Summer and Christmas. There is also potential to grow this to a full-time position and career advancement.
