Description

Mind Station launched in August 2022 offering a range of quality programming focused on mental health and well-being. Originally, we only planned to offer talk-based content on weekday evenings but the phenomenal response to our launch means we're now looking to expand our schedule.

As a result, we're inviting applications from presenters who can offer stand-out, positive radio content in the following types of shows.

  1. Talk/Interview based shows discussing mental health topics.
  2. Voice-tracked music based radio shows.
  3. Special interest programming (tell us your idea!).

All programming must be either recorded from your own home or studio so you must have access to a computer, appropriate software, and a good quality microphone. We are able to offer remote access to our Myriad 5 playout software for presenters to voice-track shows. We have all the music you'll need, so don't worry about that.

As a non-profit organisation this is a voluntary role and we're looking for talented presenters to offer a minimum of one hour's programming each week, although longer and more frequent shows are also available. We're not looking for any syndicated content, thank you.

If you're interested in joining our team please send details of the type of show you'd like to present, your ideas on why it would make awesome radio, along with a recent voice demo to Colin at info@mindstation.co.uk.

Applications close 16th September 2022.
