The Role

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Content Editor to join the Bay programming team. You’ll be right at the heart of creating and delivering amazing content across both brands that keeps our audience coming back for more. From coaching our on-air stars to making sure everything we do is sharp, creative and on-brand, you’ll be the one shaping the sound of our stations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work with our presenters to make their shows sparkle – from prep to airchecks, content planning and brainstorms.
• Keep a close ear on our output to make sure it’s always top-quality and compliant – with a particular focus on our market-leading breakfast shows.
• Work alongside the Station Manager to grow audiences, bring fresh ideas and drive Bay’s content strategy.
• Lead planning sessions with on air talent and keep the programming calendar on track.
• Collaborate with the Bay Commercial team and Events Coordinator to deliver creative, integrated sponsorships and promotions.
• You’ll be a radio all-rounder, able to dive into scheduling and in-studio show production when needed.
• Get involved in live events, outside broadcasts and special station moments.
• Keep an eye on what’s trending and spot new opportunities for emerging talent and content.
• Help craft imaging, promos and fun content for on-air and online.
• Be part of Bay’s digital and social strategy – managing content management for our innovative, market leading Bay Player.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years’ experience in radio production – ideally working on market-leading brands and a familiarity with the Maltese market.
• Great editorial judgement and an understanding of broadcasting rules, plus libel and defamation.
• A natural coach – someone who can guide and inspire on-air talent.
• Know-how with music scheduling and playout systems (bonus if you’re familiar with GSelector and Zetta).
• Super organised and detail-focused – you’ll keep everything running smoothly across both stations.
• Creative and collaborative – you love bouncing ideas around a team and providing structure and direction to on air teams and content creators.
•  Comfortable working with commercial teams to bring campaigns to life.
• Confident with audience analytics – you know how to use insights and audience measurement tools.
