Description
Experienced Radio/Multi-Media Producer
Location: London, UK
Type: Full-Time
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 Depending on Experience
About Us: FUBAR Radio is at the cutting edge of digital broadcasting, delivering a unique blend podcasting with uncensored live talk- radio broadcasting. We're more than a radio station; we're a multimedia platform that pushes the boundaries of traditional broadcasting by creating a “Radio 4 for the next generation”.
The Role: We are seeking an experienced Producer to join our dynamic team. This role demands much more than typical radio production. As a producer at FUBAR, you will be responsible for end-to-end production, encompassing tasks from series ideation to social media marketing and beyond. This includes:
- Series Ideation: Develop new show concepts, much like a development producer role in television.
- Research and Development: Conduct thorough research to ensure content is fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Presenter Choice: Secure and collaborate with new and established presenting talent to bring the very best shows to air.
- Multimedia Production: Apply TV production techniques to create compelling social content away from the studio, including video segments, live streams, and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Marketing: Promote shows through social media and outside broadcasts.
- Television Outcomes: As you create and nurture new ideas for talk-radio you will also be able to identify potential television outcomes, trialling new TV format ideas on YouTube and social media channels.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously seek new ways to enhance our content and reach.
Requirements:
- At least 7+ years in broadcast television and/or talk-radio.
- Proven experience in multimedia production. Although you will oversee the radio production of new and existing shows, you will be assisted in the mechanics of live radio broadcasting by an assistant radio producer. Therefore, an extensive radio background is not automatically necessary.
- As well as an experienced talk-radio producer, this role would suit an Associate Producer or Producer from an L.E. or Reality Television background.
- Experience with TV direction and editing and / or social media content creation will be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling, innovation and above all, entertainment.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a forward-thinking team that values creativity and innovation.
- Opportunity to work in a vibrant and collaborative environment.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Chance to make a significant impact on a growing multimedia platform.
