About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Group Marketing Director for Bauer Media Audio in Ireland. In this exciting and fast paced role, the successful candidate will oversee marketing across all our brands which have a combined reach 2.3 million radio listeners each week and significant social and digital audience.

This pivotal role requires a candidate with significant experience and exceptional leadership skills who understands market trends and consumer behaviour. In this senior-level executive position, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive growth, increase brand awareness, and enhance market penetration.

This role involves leading marketing, social media and video teams, managing budgets, and collaborating with multiple departments to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.

You will play a key role in shaping our long-term strategic vision, identifying trends, and spearheading special projects and initiatives that align with our company's ambitions and values.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing strategies with overall company vision.
  • Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels, enhancing brand identities and market presence.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyse data to inform strategic decisions and optimise campaign performance.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Lead the social media vision across the business and develop strategies that align with overall business and marketing objectives.
  • Develop a measurement framework for the department and instil a culture of performance measurement that delivers improved return on investment for the business
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources while tracking and reporting on marketing expenditures and ROI.
  • Lead a team of experienced professionals that deliver shared services across multiple brands including graphics, AV and social media
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

  • Confidence, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude balanced by resilience and the ability to deal with frustration.
