Clare FM Broadcast Journalist

The company is currently seeking ambitious candidates to work as a Broadcast Journalist in our busy newsroom.

The Journalist will be responsible for preparing and presenting bulletins, news gathering, conducting interviews, attending news markings, creating online and social media content, and will be enthusiastic about on-location reporting.

Applicants should have a qualification in journalism or a related field, experience in broadcast journalism is desirable. You will need the ability to produce news stories and develop a contacts network is advantageous.

The successful applicant will have an excellent command of English, effective news writing and story-telling ability, IT skills, and a good working knowledge of audio editing software. A full, clean driving licence is required.
