About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Group Operations Director to oversee and co-ordinate the multifaceted daily operations of Bauer Media Audio Ireland.

In this exciting and fast paced role, the successful candidate will work across all of our brands and

is tasked with ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the group.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team and working closely with the CEO, you will build effective working relationships to foster a positive and collaborative work environment

The role involves working with cross-functional teams to achieve the organisation's goals and is an amazing opportunity for a committed media professional to join a dynamic company at a time of expansion and investment.

This job is based in our Dublin office.

What you will do:

  • Be at the centre of Bauer Media Audio Ireland where the business comes together, developing and nurturing cross functional relationships to deliver business efficiencies and grow our innovation capabilities.
  • Lead a team of experienced managers and professionals that deliver shared services across multiple brands including audio production, events and consumer competitions.
  • Lead on regulatory and compliance matters with statutory bodies in the broadcast and communications sector while proactively managing any potential funding opportunities.
  • Investigate and implement internal systems and processes that deliver performance improvement for our brands, resulting in increased productivity, driving value creation within the business.
  • Integrate recent acquisitions and shape the future of an expanding and multi-location business
  • Represent BMAI on joint industry committees and industry representative bodies as required
  • Prepare management reports and presentations delivered with accuracy and on time

  • A passionate leader with excellent people management and inter personal skills and outstanding written and oral communications.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, working at speed in a competitive, rapidly changing industry.
  • Focus on completing tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Confidence, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude balanced by resilience and the ability to deal with frustration.
  • Ability to move seamlessly between the high level and the detail, and back again and able to balance the longer term with the short term.

  • Demonstrable proven experience in media operations with multiple years in a senior role.
  • In-depth understanding of the Irish audio and media landscape with a strong understanding of legislative and regulatory areas of radio.
  • Experience in audience measurement and analysis is advantageous.
