Music Producer – KISS

We are looking for a Music Producer to join the team at KISS in London.

As a KISS Music Producer, you will always positively contribute to the smooth running of the KISS Music Team, producing music logs across various shows and our channels and be involved in our weekly playlist meetings. Help in gathering content and research each week to ensure the team can make the best music decisions each week.

You will build relationships with the music industry to give feedback on music and book talent for on-air content and station led events.

You will be developing new strands that can sit across our various channels from shorter more focused genre or mood playlists to creating a wider station channel for KISS premium consumption.

Also you will be contributing to digital ideas and executions collaborating with our social and video team.

What you will do

• Scheduling of music across various programmes across various channels.
• Take part in weekly playlist meetings.
• Gathering research and looking at trends through various other resources.
• Support music and content teams in wider station initiative.
• Deputise Head of Music when necessary.
• Booking guests and running an artist’s schedule.
• PPL / PRS reporting.
• Passion for knowledge for music and a thirst for current culture for 15-35s.

What we’re looking for

• Passion, authenticity and creativity. A positive attitude. You’re determined to do your best.
• Very good knowledge of RCS GSelector systems
• Good knowledge and understanding of playlist systems.
• Understanding of the KISS target audience
• Understanding of music genres (Pop, Dance, Rap, R&B, Afrobeats etc)
• Good music editing skills.
• Understanding of what makes compelling content.
• Excellent organisational and admin skills.
• Awareness of Ofcom Broadcasting Code.
