Assistant Journalist and Organiser

Description
Please note that this is just for three to four hours of work at a time that suits the candidate, once a week on average. If possible, this would be in person at my colleague’s home office in west London.
My colleague, an experienced freelance broadcast journalist and actress, needs support with returning to both industries after a lengthy sabbatical.
She needs someone who is patient, adaptable and able to handle different technological aspects involved with applying for jobs, such as creating demo reels and editing a website.
She needs teaching audio skills.
There will also be some very basic work such as archiving and filing included.
Excellent written and spoken English is vital as well as punctuality, reliability and diplomatic communication skills.
Experience in editing audio and in using Word Press as a content management system required.
This role would be ideal for a NCTJ student journalist or a recently qualified broadcast journalist. Immediate start, subject to references and a successful telephone interview.
Please send a bespoke Cover Letter and CV to me, Olivia, at email address:oliviabridgen15@gmail.com
