Description

Station Producer / Social Media Manager – Now Ayrshire Radio

We’re looking for a hands-on, self-starting Station Producer to join Now Ayrshire Radio on a paid internship. You’ll work directly with the Programme Controller, taking creative direction and being accountable for output across on-air, production, and socials.

This is not a wannabe presenter role. It’s a real chance to get inside a working local station, make things happen fast, and build a solid portfolio.

What You’ll Do

• Produce and package on-air features, promos, and branded content.

• Cut, mix, and deliver broadcast-ready audio.

• Create visuals and short-form video that fit the station brand.

• Plan, shoot, and post social content and reels for presenters and campaigns.

• Keep output tight, local, and true to the Now Ayrshire sound.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven audio/video production skills (Adobe Audition, Myriad, or similar).

• Evidence of video and social media reel creation for radio or digital.

• Initiative, pace, and accountability — no passengers.

• Willingness to take direction and deliver results fast.

• A full UK driving licence – we’re rural, with some out-of-hours and event work.

How to Apply

We don’t want just a CV — show us what you can do.

Send:

• Your CV

• Showreels or demos (audio/video/links)

• Examples of production or social work

• A 60-second video explaining why you’re the right person
